Baby Makes Four…

You may recognize this gorgeous mom from some sessions back.  She invited me to her home to photograph her newborn son at the time.  I was lucky enough to go back this time and do a family session.  If it seems like you’re seeing double it’s because Mom & Dad have strong genes!  Baby boy looks just like Dad and baby girl (okay, maybe she’s not a baby, but I’m sure Mom still sees her as her baby girl–and isn’t she gorgeous?!?) looks just like Mom!  I love it!!!  To all of you, may your family continue to grow in Love!

~Family: Sometimes You’re Born Into It, Sometimes You Pick It~

Sometimes you’re born into family and sometimes you pick it.  I have the privilege of calling this special group of people, “family.”  Technically, we’re not related, but my heart recognizes them as nothing less than family.  What I love most about all of them is their deep, loyal commitment to each other.  I love that Mom & Dad were high school sweethearts and still madly in love with each other.  Dad is forever trying to sneak a kiss from Mom.  She acts coy and you can see that she is still smitten with her hubby.  Together, they are raising some of the greatest kids I’ve ever met–funny & well-mannered.  If I had to pick one word that would describe this group of people, it would have to be “family,”  - mi familia.

Blessings

The holidays remind us to count our blessings.  But I say that when you’re a parent, you should count your blessings everyday.  Whenever you’re having a bad day, stop and look into the eyes of the little miracles that have been entrusted unto you.  Slow down, reflect, and count your blessings.

Check out these little ones that have blessed their parents’ lives.  Looking at them you can see pure innocence & joy.  I love it.  Thanks for blessing me with your smiles, Little Ones!
