Is your family perfect? Mine’s not. In fact, I’ve never met anyone whose family is perfect. Often times, I’ve known people who at first glance it seems that they have it all together, but the longer I knew them the more I realized that their life was full of challenges too. Maybe not the same challenges, but challenges, nonetheless. Today millions of people around the world celebrate Easter. It’s a holiday to celebrate new beginnings–starting over. It’s a holiday that allows us to put our impefections, mistakes in the past and start all over again. What could be better than that?
The image you see above is of my imperfect family–my parents and all their grandkids. It perfectly represents everyone’s personalities and the dynamics of my family. At first glance, you may think the image is a waste because no one is looking and cheesing at the camera, but for me, it’s a treasure. It’s a moment in time captured and one that I will look back on for years to come with a smile–an imperfect situation, perfectly depicting my imperfect family.
Happy Easter!
Peace, Love, Joy & Abunandance
