Seamstresses have a special place in my heart because my Mom is one. I grew up watching her make dresses for me. That’s why I couldn’t wait to introduce the latest Momtrepreneur, Jessica Jones, owner of Pretty Lil Girl Boutique. I’m so excited to feature her and her wonderful, hand-made custom products.
I’ve been a customer of Jessica for quite a while now. I’ve purchased her beautifully handmade bows and tutus from her in the past. I promise you, she makes the BEST HAIRBOWS in Katy, TX. Honestly. They are so well-made. I’ve purchased bows from other stores, but always go back to Jessica’s bows because of their quality. Her tutus are also as cute as can be! To my delight, she submitted an entry to be featured as the Momtrepreneur of the Month. I couldn’t wait to introduce her to all of you. Below you will see a variety of images with some of her beautiful products. All the bows & dresses were made by her. Aren’t they adorable?!?
Here’s Jessica’s interview and advice on balancing life as a Momtrepreneur:

4.) How long have you been in business?

6.)How do you balance your business life with your family life?
I try to only work on things when I wake up at 5:30am, during naptime or after they go to bed.
7.)How can people purchase your goods/services?
For now, through email or by phone. My website will be up and running in a few months. I have a blog for now so people may view my creations http://www.prettylilgirlboutique.blogspot.com/

In other words, how much time elapsed between the time you came up with the business idea to establishing your company? Did you face challenges? If so, what were they? It has been 2 years since I got myand I am still working on getting a website together. The hardest part is trying to find the time to do so.
9.)What advice would you give to other aspiring Momtrepreneurs?
My best advice would be to keep it fun! This is my passion. I love creating things. If I get stressed out, I take a step back and try to simplify things.
